Whole artwork view.Whole artwork view. Fresco set in the inferior part of the left wall, depicting two episodes of the life of Saint Peter; on the left, a group of people crowds around a naked boy, who kneels down upon his own shroud, upon bones and skulls; the young man, come back from the death, holds out his arms towards Saint Peter, recognizable for his beard and white, short hair; the Saint, who wears an orange mantle, is faced backwards, holding out his hand in order to invoke a blessing; next to him can be recognized Saint Paul, who prays kneeling down, his gaze towards the sky; among the onlookers there is a child with long blond hair who looks down and hugs to an adult, and the governor of Antiochia, Teophilus, sitting in a niche; on the right, the scene is centred around Saint Peter on the pulpit, in an upper position, surrounded by various male characters, some standing up, others kneeling down; among the onlookers can be distinguished some theologians, like the two Carmelites who stand up on the left
