SPENCER TUNICK ARRANGES SOME OF MORE THAN 1300 NUDE VOLUNTEERS FOR A PHOTO SHOOT OF SPENCER TUNICK AT THE ARTEPLAGE OF NEUCHATEL. New York photographer and performer Spencer Tunick (L) arranges some of more than 1500 nude volunteers for a setting of his photo shoot at the arteplage of Neuchatel, Switzerland, at daybreak July 20, 2002. Tunick creates massive landscape photographs of human bodies what he calls 'Nude Landscapes' with naked volunteer models in various settings. The arteplage of Neuchatel is part of the ongoing "Expo.02" Swiss national exposition, a linked web of open-air theme parks centred on four eye-catching arteplages, lakeshore platforms whose name comes from combining art and the French word for beach.
