Stiklestad July 1961: "The Game of Saint Olav" 200 waves draws every year in the Viking suit to highlight the night before the Battle of Stiklestad in the year 1030. The game is only going on for three days, and most foreign tourists miss a fantastic performance. The Catholics have kept the memory of Olav the Holy alive through the ages, and are still celebrating the Olsok Day with a fair in their own chapel at Stiklestad, while the Protestants are already embarking on their celebration.
