The legacy of the emigrants to America has left an important mark on Ribadeo. Its maximum splendor is the Torre de los Moreno (1915). Building ordered to be erected by the brothers Juan and Pedro Moreno Ulloa, who at the beginning of the 20th century began to send money from Argentina for the construction of their mansion in the town hall square.
