this lamp has a globular body with a flaring neck a splayed foot and six loops attached to the body for suspension. It has inscriptions glorifying the sultan only in the small medallions on the neck and the lower part of the body. between the medallions on the neck are pseudo Kufic inscriptions knotted and mirrored outlined in red. Its most strikink decoration on the main body contains a floriated scroll of symmetrical flowers of mainly blue petals with highlights in red green and yellow-enameled and gilded glass-inv.n.279-from the complex of Sultan Hasan-Mamluk ca 1363-IM-150908-055
