Whole artwork view. Painting divided into two parts by a thin, brown band; in the upper zone Lari, who distinguish themselves from other human figures because of their biggesr dimenbsions, are represented by short, multicoloured tunics and typical horn, also called rhyton, from which pour gushes of wine; in the middle, wearing a white tunic and a red mantle on his head, is depicted with a horn of plenty in his left hand, while executing sacrifices on the marble altar, accompanied by an attendant in the sacred ceremonies, also called camillus; in front of the victimarius swaggers the flute player; in the lower fragment are represented two agathodemon snakes, protector genii of the hearth, that slither on the high grass towards an altar where are offered eggs and flat bread to them; from Pompei.
