Livio GARZANTI (1 July 1921 - 13 February 2015) Italian writer and publisher, son of Aldo Garzanti, founder of the homonymous publishing house where Livio also worked and where he took over from his father as president in 1961, when he died. During his publishing career he discovered Pier Paolo Pasolini, publishing the first novel that made him famous, "Ragazzi di vita" (1955).
