Giacomo ANTONINI (18 September 1901 - 1 March 1983) literary critic, editor of critical essays on the Italian and French novel and on theater in Italy. He had a collaborative relationship with the Bompiani publishing house and later, emigrated to France, followed the contractual relationships with various Italian writers, for some important French publishing houses. During Fascism he collaborated with the regime becoming an OVRA agent. Alberto Moravia was inspired by some of his biographical events to write the novel "Il Conformista" from which Bernardo Bertolucci drew the homonymous film.
