Oslo 19521020. The German war cemetery at Ekeberg has since 1940 been a thorn in the eye of Oslo people, the Germans laid the cemetery in one of the most beautiful views in the Oslo area. This place was to be used for a national park and outdoor area. During the war, a forest of crosses grew with the Germans buried here. After the liberation in 1945, there were a total of 2956 graves. Ever since the liberation, we have been working to find a solution to move the cemetery, but by so many years after the war, many believe there is an unworthy intervention in the burial to carry out the move. The Germans have regretted the poor maintenance of the cemetery. High grass hides the tombs in many places. The writing on the wooden cross becomes more or less unreadable. If nature's forces are allowed to work undisturbed for a few years, it becomes a burial ground for unknown German soldiers grave. The entrance was pompous with a large eagle on the wall.
