WELSH SAILORS SHOW OFF THEIR HONG KONG 1997 TATTOOS, 1997-06-18 (photo)

Welsh Sailors from the HMS Chatham Owen Cokeley, nicknamed Cockles (L) and Chris Coe, nicknamed Seb, show off their recently aquired Hong Kong 1997 tattoos in front of Ricky and Pinky's world reknowned tattoo parlour in Hong Kong's Wanchai June 17. The Welsh duo had their nicknames tattooed in Chinese characters on the tops of their feet July 17, just two-days after getting the 1997 emblems on their arms. As Hong Kong gears up for it's July 1 handover to Chinese rule, business has been good for Ricky and Pinky, with sailors, locals and tourists alike seeking a more permanent souvenir to mark and preserve this historic time. HONGKONG
