Tue 03, 1953 - German Reporter Visits Mossadequk's opponent. The Munich journalist Joerg A. visited Ayatollah Zashani, chief of the schiite and president of the Iranian House of Representatives. The 82 year old man is said to be the” Strong Man” of Iran who is leading the fate of his country from the background. During the last crisis he placed him self at the side of the Shah as Mossadequ seemed him to be to be powerful and autocratic. Now Kashani refused again to convoke the parliament from which Mossadequ expects to get the vote of confidence. His political confession as he told to our reporter is “Everything occuring here is the fault of the English!” Our Picture Show: Kashani, Elten and the interpreter, Alizadeh.
