Rāvaṇa regretfully remembers VibhÄ«á¹£aá¹‡a's wise words. His brothers and sons now set forth to do battle (below), accompanied by armed men on horseback and on foot. Mahodara is on an elephant, the three-headed TriÅ›iras and AtikÄya are in a chariot, and NarÄntaka is on a white horse, as in the text. The vehicles of DevÄntaka and MahÄpÄrÅ›va are unspecified, but here they are in chariots. The allies are seen in council on the left.
