A curious funeral monument: the dolmen of Perissac (Esse, Charente), transported to the Confolens cemetery in 1884 to support the sarcophagus of the wife of Sub-Prefect Gontier. It is a rare example of a megalithic monument from prehistory reused as a tomb in contemporary times, with the Ker-Han dolmen from Saint-Philibert (Morbihan) transported to Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine) and transformed into a cellar for the Piketty family.
