PAN, LS, HA, WA, Daylight. View from the Palatine Hill of The Forum Romanum: Basilica of Maxentius and the Coliseum. The basilica was built between 308 and 312 AD. All that remains of it is the north aisle with its three concrete barrel vaults. To the right from the basilica it the Church of Santa Francesca Romana (previously known as Santa Maria Nova) with its 12th-century Romanesque bell tower. Further to the right is the Arch of Titus (81 AD), with the Coliseum (built 72-80 AD) seen behind it.
