The motif from the Nazi propaganda shows construction works by the Todt organization on the western front, taken in October 1943. National Socialist propaganda on the back side of the picture reads: “Europe works for victory. On the Atlantic wall and the fortifications of the Mediterranean, the large drums work without interruption, in which cement and stones form the bonds that make them concrete. The big buyers of the milling mixing machines spit inexorably fresh building material, and here again the image of an organisation of the OT, which has been established up to the very last word: 'Iron concrete is to protect the German combat troops.”' NO BILDREFUNK USE
