HONG KONG'S BORDER WITH CHINA IS SEEN FROM AN RAF WESSEX HELICOPTER, 1997-05-15 (photo)

Wessex helicopters from the Royal Air Force (RAF) fly over the last stretch of Hong Kong's rural New Territories (foreground) before skirting the border with China's sprawling southern Chinese city of Shenzhen (background) May 15, as a crewmember peers from the open door of the aircraft. The RAF, making one of their last Wessex helicopter flights to the border will be selling some of these aircraft to Paraguay after the handover to China on July 1.
