On the back of the picture, the National Socialist news coverage writes on 06.12.1944: "Helferinnen der Wehrmacht. Many thousands of German women and girls are already in the service of the Wehrmacht. In the Flakwaffen-Helferinnen-Korps their first united effort in national defense has been created. Now the Reichsreferentin of the BdM. Dr. Jutta Rüdiger and the Reichsfrauenführerin Gertrud Scholz-Klink have issued an appeal to all women, urging them, provided they have reached the age of 18, to join the newly created Wehrmacht-Helferinnen-Korps. U.B.z.: Flakwaffenhelferin am Horchgerät. Precise knowledge of the device and extreme concentration enable them to perform full duty."
