Bosnian Serb Milan Simic (R) is wheeled in to a courtroom of the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia by a U.N. security guard, while his counsel Branislav Avramovic (L) turns towards him, to hear the verdict in the contempt of court case against Simic and his counsel, The Hague March 29. Allegations Simic and his counsel Avramovic had attempted to bribe a witness to give false testimony in favour of Simic could not be established beyond reasonable doubt, and they where both found not guilty of contempt of court. Simic stands accused with four others of ordering or aiding and abetting a campaign of torture, persecution and ethnic cleansing against non-Serb civilians in the northern Bosnian Municipalities of Bosanski Samac and Odrzak between September 1991 and December 1993.
