A KOSOVO REFUGEE FEEDS HER BABY IN A REFUGEE CAMP, 1998-06-15 (photo)

A refugee from Kosovo feeds her baby at a school converted to a registration centre for refugees in the town of Fierze 45 km south of the Albanian-Yugoslav border June 15, as more than 350 refugees arrived in Albania through a mountainous area on Monday. The escalating violence in Kosovo has claimed more than 300 lives in recent months in clashes between Serb security forces and suspected separatist guerrillas. Albania estimates that around 15,000 ethnic Albanians have fled Kosovo and crossed into its territory. NATO holds air exercises in the Balkans on Monday to put pressure on Yugoslavia to end the conflict. YB/AA
