THE RESTORED SARCOPHAGUS OF ECHNATON IS PRESENTED IN MUNICH, 2001-10-16 (photo)

The approximately 3000-year-old sarcophagus was seperated in two pieces during restoration works in 1915. The lid was restored by the Egyptian museum in Cairo, the lower half by restorers in Munich.
