STAFFORD COVEY SHUTTLE TASK GROUP HOLDS FIRST PUBLIC MEETING, 2003-08-07 (photo)

Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Stafford (R) and co-chair Richard O. Covey attend the first meeting of the Stafford-Covey Return to Flight Task Group, during its first public meeting August 7, 2003 at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The Task Group was chartered by NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe to perform an independent assessment of NASA's implementation of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board's final recommendations.
