TUBERCULOSIS PATIENT IN ISOLATION AT QUETTA HOSPITAL, 2001-10-05 (photo)

At the hospital patients are also treated for the Crimea-Congo Haemorragic fever, a disease carried by livestock ticks, and humans are vulnerable when they live in proximity to herds of sheep or goats. The virus is spread through urine, stools, blood or saliva and the symptoms are nose-bleeds, bleeding from the rectum, even bleeding through the skin.
