In a landscape a Poor Clare kneels in the centre and is blessed by a bishop, on the left, watched and surrounded by other figures on both sides. In the foreground, on the left, a mason, presumably laying the foundations of the Poor Clare's convent, dressed in a red coat, with his back to the viewer, kneels on one leg and has stopped working with his trowel in his right hand in the air. Behind the nun (?a Franciscan Nun) an acolyte holds a pennant adorned with the cross of St George. Stourhead, Wiltshire (Accredited Museum)
