On 20 August 1945, the active service of the Swiss army, which had been ordered by the authorities during the war years of the Second World War from 1939 to 1945, ends. On 19 August 1945, the field signs of the Bataillione were brought to the Bundeshaus in Bern in a solemn ceremony to mark the occasion.
