Harwich-Zeebrugge Train Ferry. Train ferries have been adopted on the Great Lakes of America, in Denmark, on Lake Baikal, on the Baltic and elsewhere, the idea having originated in England about 1864, when Messrs Wigham Richardson built a train ferry for Germany.
