Continuity Girl. This lady has a very important job in the making of a film. Her duty is to check over details of dress, make-up, arrangement of set, etc, as one scene is very often "shot" at intervals of some hours, and, in some cases, days. If the hero or any other actor, for instance, is wearing a buttonhole when the first shot is taken, it is her duty to see that it is still there when filming re-commences after an interval.
