A decade after the beginning of the country's war, a group of Bosnian Muslims, whose families had become a target of ethnic cleansing in area of Srebrenica, live in a basement of the destroyed house led by a strong wish to return to their pre-war homes. The U.N.-declared "safe area" was the site of the worst massacre in Europe since World War Two, in which about 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed by Serb forces in July of 1995.
