Shanghai has reported no new Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) cases, for the past 10 consecutive days on Monday. Almost two thirds of the world's cases of the flu-like SARS virus have occurred in China, where the government said on Monday 289 people had died and a cumulative total of 5,236 have been infected by the disease.
