Video description

TILT up and PAN, CU on windows, LA view of the fan-vaulted ceiling. Originally a Norman church built on even earlier foundations, Bath Abbey was later transformed into the Perpendicular-style (English late-Gothic). The fan-vaulted ceiling dates from the major restoration of the 1860s by George Gilbert Scott, and is modeled on the original vault at the east end designed by the brothers William and Robert Vertue.
