Video description

Daylight, TILT down, CU on the eastern side of the triumphal arch, situated between the Coliseum and the Palatine Hill. It was built in 315 AD and consists of three archways. The decorations at the central and lower part were created specifically for this triumphal arch, while others are reused decorations from other monuments. The upper frieze is Trajanic and depicts a battle scene, probably from the Dacian Wars. The medallion of the Sun on a quadriga is Constantinian. The main frieze, also Constantinian, shows the army of Constantine entering Rome after the victory over Maxentius at the Milvian Bridge.
